Website re-design project for yet another student society - the Vietnamese Society in Oxford.

Implementation

It was SSI all over again, but with experience from the past, the setup was much faster this time. I went for a minimalistic, 3-column open space layout, done in a blue-grey colour scheme. This time, I chose to conform to Strict XHTML1.0. And, of course, mootools.js to power couple of effects:

• smooth fade effect in the navigation - without using Flash!
• mini slideshow
• sliding the sidebar navigation into view
• lightbox
• slide in/out fx on the Connections panel (footer section)
